HOW TO GET IT?
To live in the UAE, you need a Residence Visa and Emirates ID, which are mandatory for all residents. Here’s how you can obtain them based on different scenarios:
If you’re a partner in your own company, the company itself can sponsor you. Freezones typically provide online portals to initiate the visa process. We are here to support you with any visa application, as it can be a lengthy process, and missing a step or going to the wrong place may cause significant delays. If you have a mainland LLC, it’s common to engage a “PRO Agency” as the steps involved are complex and time-consuming.
If you are employed by a local company, the company will handle all the necessary procedures for your visa, and you won’t need to take any action. The visas for your family members will also be managed by the Public Relations department of your company.
Another option to obtain a Residence Visa is by purchasing a property in the Emirates worth more than AED 1.2 million. Additionally, you need to demonstrate a stable monthly income of at least AED 10,000, which can be sourced from outside the UAE as well. This combination of property ownership and a sufficient income will qualify you for the Residence Visa.
Certainly, as a residence visa holder in the UAE, you have the privilege of sponsoring your family members. This sponsorship allows them to reside in the country. However, sponsorship is limited to direct family members, including your spouse, parents, and children. Children can be sponsored until they reach the age of 18 or until they complete their education (whichever comes first).
For more information about sponsoring family members and nannies, it’s advisable to refer to the official guidelines provided by the UAE government or relevant authorities. These guidelines may outline specific requirements and procedures for sponsoring family members and domestic helpers (such as nannies).
